When I knew that I was at a loss on how to handle a situation with one of my children, I felt like a failure. In my heart of hearts I knew I should not, but I did. I did not want to jeopardize my relationship with my child so I knew I had to tread lightly...but how? I just did not have any more tools to choose from. When I connected with Beth, the first thing I felt was relief. She has this way of making you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. She listened to my concerns and asked questions so that I could understand the problem from more than only my perspective. She helped me process my child's perspective. Once I could step out of my own feelings, things became more clear. Her knowledge on child development is impressive. Her energy, thoughtfulness, and support is unmatched. I left each of our sessions with a well thought out plan for both my child and myself. I also left knowing that parenting is tough and I shouldn't be shameful. We obviously don't have all the answers, but I am grateful for the support Beth gave me to talk out the issue so that my relationship and communication with my child became stronger. Beth is knowledgeable, kind, funny, thoughtful, and insightful. She doesn't see it as a" problem" but more as a parent and a child getting to know each other better as they grow and go through various stages of life. I sincerely appreciate her support and approach and will not hesitate to reach out again if I am faced with a parenting conflict
(see how I didn't say problem:).

Parent coaching with Beth, has been the best parenting decision I have ever made. From the very beginning, Beth put me at ease and helped me navigate difficult stages with my oldest child. She slowly, gently took me from a negative place with him, to a place where we now focus on his positive gifts and using those to our advantage. Also during our time, Beth gracefully helped me uncover our family's strengths and goals; something I strangely never dug deeply into before. Walking through this each week with Beth, has truly changed the way our family functions on a daily basis. It has opened doors I never knew existed. She knew just when to push me each week and taught me how to refocus when needed. Beth, has a gift to make you feel so very comfortable, plus the knowledge and experience to make your family what you really envision (or will envision with her!).

Parent coaching with Beth was a wonderful experience. I was immediately at ease discussing my parenting struggles and family dynamics with her. Beth is a gifted listener, offering sound advice and practical ideas to help with each parenting challenge we discussed. Over time, Beth drew conclusions from stories I shared that helped to deepen my understanding of my own family’s strengths and opportunities for growth. Our conversations enabled me to see my family in a whole new way, leading me to implement many positive changes. We can’t thank Beth enough for everything she has done for our family!

Beth helped me take a look at my parenting ways with a more positive twist. I was able to open up and share my hopes and goals for my family very easily with Beth since she is a skillful listener. Beth encouraged me with insightful suggestions and ideas as well as meaningful discussions throughout our coaching sessions. She provided me with useful tools that I will use going forward to keep my family loving, respectful, positive and strong!

Not only do I believe that Beth is a no-nonsense, bull-by-the-horns kind of parent, I think her brand of common sense, smart parenting would be an asset to anyone. I wish we could find a way to use her in the courts and DCFS system.

My experience with Beth was amazing! I really looked forward to each one of our sessions and some weeks I even wished I had a few more hours with her! After each session I found myself reflecting on the helpful suggestions she gave me and thinking through the ways I could implement them with my children. She was extremely flexible with her time and I never felt pressured or disappointment from Beth when our schedules did not work out for the week. It soon became clear that Beth took a very nonjudgmental approach and always put things in perspective for me. I left each session feeling really good about the job we were doing! Beth did a wonderful job of focusing on my strengths as a mom and finding ways to use those strengths to help in the challenging areas. Because Beth is a mother of four boys and has a background in education, she has a very realistic perspective on parenting. She knows the challenges that motherhood brings and is so amazing at giving you small solutions for issues you thought were so big. Her sense of humor lightens up challenging topics. My experience with Beth was a blessing for myself and my entire family!
