Parent Coaching, Seriously?! Do I really need a parent coach to be a good parent?

Actually, the fact that you are here means that you are already a good parent and you are looking for ways to be an even better parent and have a stronger relationship with your children.  Looking for help and guidance in order to the be the best parent you can be is actually a strength.  People come to parent coaching for many different reasons.  Parenting is a HUGE responsibility.  Perhaps you are currently struggling with a challenge with your child.  Maybe you know what you are doing is not working, but you are at a loss for what else to do.  You may feel like a broken record at times and you are having the same conversation with your partner about your child again and again.  Sometimes you might just want to feel supported and maybe you want to add to the tools in your parenting toolbox.

A parent coach supports and guides you on YOUR parenting journey, helping you find your strengths and what is currently working well in your family.  Ultimately the parent coach works with you to help you become the parent YOU want to be.  A parent coach will work alongside you and help you come up with practical, long-term solutions to your parenting challenges, while also guiding you to use your talents and strengths optimally for the best results possible for your family.  A parent coach will help you cultivate a better relationship with your children.  Your coach will ask you questions that will help you think about your family in deeper ways.  Together you will explore new perspectives, learn effective tools for making change, and develop an appreciation of your parenting experience.  While it is true that parenting is hard work, it is also a lot of fun.  So allow a parent coach to work alongside you to help you learn strategies and skills, and just be a support while you find more joy in your parenting!
